I currently oversee digital education at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame—on any given day at the office, you might find me building a web page full of resources for teachers, making a cool educational video for students, or interviewing an artist live on social media. I’m a creative strategist who thinks in multimedia, and I specialize in solving problems in the arts and education by bringing together tried-and-true methods and cutting-edge digital approaches. (Check me out getting an early start in this video.)
I am also completing a PhD in musicology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. I’m working on a digital dissertation about the lives and music of women in 1950s rock and roll. I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in cello performance and music history from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. They taught me to play the cello, but I’m currently applying my performance skills to learning the electric bass.
