A few months ago, I posted a link to a story about the Church of Universal Love and Music in Pennsylvania–a story which raised some interesting issues about freedom of religion and zoning laws. Despite only being three sentences long, the post has brought in more Google searchers than any other on this blog except the two about Family Guy’s “Distracting Trumpet” episode. (The CULM post also garnered a few interesting comments from readers, including one that called me “some hoity toity college girl musicologist.”)
Anyway, I apparently should not have said I’d be OK going to this church, because CULM is back in the news again–this time for drug raids. Just when you think a story can’t get any stranger . . .
