So I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a tattoo of the Guidonian Hand. In scanning the internet for potential body art images, I’ve found some interesting Guido- and hand- related stuff out there in cyberspace.

And, an exhibition from a few years back about the urge humans have to write on their hands. It seems that Guido’s followers (and my own teenage students who use their palms as portable notepads) aren’t the only ones who see the hand as a natural mnemonic device. (More here.)
