I was reading the Tommy Edwards Newsletter (Edwards was a deejay active in Cleveland in the 1950s) at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s archives today.

He writes in a 1956 newsletter: “Have your deejay pals do this for a gimmick—spin IVORY TOWER by Cathy Carr and UNWANTED HEART by Eileen Rodgers at the same time—they coincide exactly, even to the length of playing time—song structure is the same, even to the accordion parts.”
