Mendelssohn’s Birthday Celebration/Symphony Benefit

Some friends/colleagues from the faculty at the School of Music at The Ohio State University and the Columbus Symphony, led by pianist Caroline Hong, are putting on a concert of Mendelssohn’s music to celebrate his 200th birthday.

The concert is February 2 at 8pm in Weigel Hall at OSU. The program includes the Piano Trio in D Minor, Concert Pieces (for clarinets), and the Octet in E-flat Major, Op. 20. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Columbus Symphony. There will be birthday cake.
