Not All Voices Belong in the Shower

My collection of operatic TV commercials has continued to grow. The project I’m working on focuses on how opera and cultural perceptions of opera are used to sell products–but a related strain is commercials where opera itself is the product.

I have to say, so far, most of these have elicited a “WTF?” Like this one from the Minnesota opera. Where are these people supposed to be that they can all hear each other?
